My Best 6

My best work... so far.

A creative set up. I took this shot for a jewellery shot halfway through the semester. My best friend bought me this ring two years ago, one of the only times I took it off was for this photo. I love the composition, but I feel like it is missing something.

Arguably my best shot of the year. This bad boy made it onto the website, and in the yearbook. I love the lighting set up. It is so flattering on her. The peek of light coming through the eye. the smoothness of the skin, the conversion to black and white. Only thing I would change is the untamed hairs.

Oil on water. Lit from beneath, using different coloured gels as well. I'll never forget the scolding Mr. Morphet gave me the day after this shot. I like the different bubbles in the water. You can see the writing on the bottom of the dish, unfortunately. Never forget to clean your oil on water up.

This was such a a nice day. This was one of the last times to get a warmly lit outdoor shot. I like his expression, and the bokeh lights coming through the trees in the background. There are a bunch of white fluffs on the hat that should've been removed.

This is such a great shot of Alyssa. This was so organic too. She was playing with the leaves like a kid, and the weather was so beautiful. I absolutely love her smile and her squinted eyes. It shows how much fun she was having. I love that I caught the leaves mid air too. It adds to the scene. I don't like the houses in the back.

This was probably the most edited shot of the semester. I think smoke shots are very hard to be original and interesting. I like the edit on this, the pop of colour. I do wish I could manipulate the smoke, but I am not a wizard.
